Designed by the artist Christiane Vauzelles in 1977, Tigre Royal (Royal Tiger) celebrates the strength and nobility of the big cat in a perfectly symmetrical composition of imperial palms that underline its sovereign character. A true icon of the Maison Hermès, this scarf was reissued in 2008 in the 70 cm format. It also exists in a double-sided pearl grey and blue version and a double-sided pink and blue version, issued in 2002, as well as a "Tigre royal fleuri" version in 70 cm dating from 2020. Shown here is the original 1977 version, in a timeless denim blue colourway. In good condition, with marks visible in the photographs, hence its gentle price.
