A great classic, full of charm and nostalgia. "Les Bécanes" (The Bikes) is one of the most emblematic designs by Hugo Grygkar (the father of the Hermès scarf). Originally drawn in 1953 and titled "Les Cycles", it captures the carefree spirit of the first bicycle rides and the elegance of the Belle Époque. This version is a sought-after reissue dating from 1974 (recognisable by its stylised copyright in the chainset). You will also find in the boutique the original 1953 design, worn by Romy Schneider and by Grace Kelly in 1956. Absolute elegance. See the original 1953 edition.

• Condition: Very good overall vintage condition. The fluid silk has kept its fine body and the hand-rolled hem is nicely plump. In full transparency: time has left a few slight traces (small yellowish/pinkish marks on the white ground, visible in the detail photographs). It is a vintage patina that blends into the profusion of the design once the scarf is tied around the neck.
